The Forces Old Students' Association (FOSA) 2020 Year Group is setting the pace for impactful student engagement with the launch of its Student Development Summit, scheduled for 11th June 2025 at the FSHTS Assembly Hall, beginning at 9:00 AM.
Under the inspiring theme "Beyond SHS, Unlocking Potentials, Pursuing Excellence," the summit is crafted to provide senior high school students with the tools, motivation, and mentorship they need to excel in their academic and professional pursuits beyond high school.
Why This Summit Matters
Transitioning from senior high school into the wider world—be it tertiary education, entrepreneurship, or skilled professions—can be a daunting experience. This summit seeks to bridge that gap by connecting students with professionals who have carved a niche in various industries. Through storytelling, guidance, and mentorship, students will receive practical knowledge that goes beyond the classroom.
Meet the Moderator and Speakers
The event brings together a powerful lineup of change-makers and youth mentors:
🔹 Moderator:
Mariam Ofori – A Licensed Dietician at the 37 Military Hospital, Mariam brings poise, professionalism, and real-world health knowledge to guide the conversation.
🔹 Speakers:
Pearl Stephaney Yayra Ama Quashie – A midwife and CEO of Peach Brushes, Pearl will share insights into healthcare entrepreneurship and women's empowerment.
Winston Deladem Gamor – Policy and Advocacy Manager at Ghana NCD Alliance and the World Health Organization, Winston is renowned for his work in health communication and youth advocacy.
Nana Serwaa Amoako – President of Streams of Living Waters Foundation, Nana Serwaa is a vibrant youth leader whose work in community service and leadership will inspire students.
Samuel Agbenyo – Founder and Lead of Expo Ghana Community (a React Native and mobile developers’ hub), Samuel embodies tech leadership and youth innovation.
